Avalla S-80 portable 4-in-1 air conditioner & dehumidifier combo

Bought this ahead of the Summer for my bedroom, before they all sell out. Delivery was very fast, and product well packaged. Tried it out (but not in hot weather yet) and is easy to use and worked well. Noise level no more than expected. A good buy for Summer Heatwaves - grab one now!

I bought the S80 for my garden cabin that frequently sees temperatures of 30 plus in the warmer months. It worked amazingly well at cooling just using the window vent, however have since vented it through the wall & bought an external vent & its made such a difference. Worth it for the hotter months to come!

Ordered this in advance of summer heat while stock is good and took advantage of the spring sale and another £20 for this review. The S-80 is a good value machine (after my research), its not excessively noisy, there isn't a portable air con unit that doesn't make some noise. You need to consider the reasons for buying such a machine I decided I needed a dedicated air con unit of this capacity, although it de humidifies as well. One of the main reasons for this unit is its low weight and portability, It will be stored for some of the year as a spare bedroom bedside table with a cover over it and minimal weight on the top. As far as performance goes I've very briefly tested it and on low fan speed it more than does the job in my 4 x 3 m bedroom. I'll be either getting a custom made fabric or plastic window exhaust cover as the one supplied is for a sash window which is a bit of a shame for the uk market. For the price overall for this easy to use product and the company its seems very good value and a feeling that the company would be good to deal with. The real test of performance will be the 30+ degree heat later in the year and any thing that crops up with use that would reduce to a 4 star rating, well the window exhaust for a sash window only drops it to 4 stars anyway.

I’ve just ordered my second Avalla S80. I bought one last year and loved it so much I’m buying a second one for the bedroom so I don’t have to keep carrying it up and downstairs. I know that if and when the hot weather comes I’ll be glad I bought it earlier rather than risking it being out of stock. Absolutely brilliant at keeping me cool in the summer. They are compact machines but too heavy for me to lift up and downstairs. They’re noisy but I am still happy to buy another machine because of how efficiently it cools down the room and I don’t think you can buy quiet air conditioning units at this price. .

Works great in my large bedroom/office. Not used it in hot weather yet but tested it and it significantly cooled the room. I have used as a dehumidifier to dry the washing indoors which works.
